The ICS Quick Start Package is designed to highlight the technical and cost benefits
that SQL Server 2005 would deliver as your Business Intelligence server, and give you
guidance on how to move your Business Intelligence solution in an efficient and
structured manner to SQL Server 2005.
During five days on-site consultancy ICS will undertake the following tasks; gather
requirements for the Quick Start, review existing infrastructure, design a sample data
warehouse in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services to meet your needs and
populate it by creating Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services packages, perform
basic data validation and create sample reports deployed onto Microsoft SQL Server
Reporting Services.
At the end of the five days ICS will provide you with a Virtual PC with an evaluation
version of Microsoft SQL Server 2005, your sample data, the created reports and a
copy of RSinteract; the ICS ad-hoc, end-user reporting tool for SQL Server Reporting
Services.
